Frank Zappa
In addition to my primary practice, I am a qualified supervisor and am excited to offer supervision services to fellow practitioners. My love and passion for plants deeply influence my supervision approach. Just as plants require the right environment to grow, I believe that therapists thrive in a nurturing, supportive space where they can explore their client work, overcome challenges, and celebrate their growth. This service provides a valuable opportunity for professional development, ethical guidance, and clinical support, all at an accessible rate. My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and growth-oriented, much like the careful tending of a garden to help it flourish.
With six years of experience working in both the NHS and private practice, I bring a wealth of expertise, particularly in the areas of anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, overcoming abuse, and attachment issues. My integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), and plant-based growth analogies, informs my supervision style, ensuring that it is tailored to your unique needs and therapeutic orientation.
I offer supervision face to face in central Taunton and via video or telephone call. The fees are as follows:
Initial meeting FREE
Qualified therapists £50 per hour or £65 for 90 minutes
Trainee (and Low Cost) therapists £30 per hour or £50 for 90 minutes
PLEASE NOTE: I keep 2 spaces for Low cost supervision which offers the first 3 months supervision free of charge.
If you are interested in benefiting from my supervision services and want to explore how we can work together to support your journey as a therapist, please feel free to get in touch.
In addition to one-to-one supervision, I offer small group supervision for therapists who enjoy learning alongside peers in a collaborative, reflective setting. Just as plants in a garden benefit from the diversity and support of those around them, therapists in a group can gain fresh insights, multiple perspectives, and the reassurance that we’re not alone in the challenges we face. These sessions are supervisor-led and provide a safe, supportive space to explore your client work, meet supervision requirements, and develop as a practitioner, while sharing in the richness of group reflection.
When: Last Wednesday of every month: Morning group: 10:00am & Evening group: 6:30pm
Duration: 1.5 hours (90 minutes) counts as 45 minutes toward supervision requirements.
Cost: £50 per session
Group size: Maximum of 4 participants
