Therapy with me is warm, supportive, and human. I use humour, compassion, and evidence-based approaches to help you feel at ease while exploring meaningful change. This is a space where you can be real, understood, and gently challenged when it helps your growth.

I work with women and young women through anxiety, ADHD and autism, attachment patterns, and self-worth difficulties. With over seven years of clinical experience in NHS and private settings, I focus on helping you understand what feels overwhelming now and the patterns that sit beneath it. Just as plants need the right conditions to grow, therapy offers a steady environment where you can develop confidence, emotional regulation, and greater trust in yourself.

I tailor therapy to you rather than fitting you into a model. I draw from CBT, REBT, psychodynamic thinking and person-centred practice, depending on what you need at each stage. A core part of the work is Unconditional Self-Acceptance, learning to loosen harsh self-criticism so you can relate to yourself with more kindness, clarity and emotional confidence.

In sessions we pay attention to patterns, nervous-system responses, core beliefs and the younger parts of you that might still be holding fear or pressure. The aim is always understanding, not blame. Although therapy is centred on talking, I sometimes integrate aromatherapy or simple grounding and mindfulness practices to help you settle, regulate and reconnect with your body. These small rituals help make the room feel calm, contained and safe. We explore what is happening in your life right now as well as the deeper roots beneath it, working toward steadiness, clarity and emotional resilience.

What I Can Help With

I support women and young women through the emotional challenges that shape identity, relationships and everyday life. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, ADHD or autism, relationship stress, low self-esteem or major transitions like perimenopause or motherhood, you will find a space here where you can feel seen, understood and supported.

Whatever you bring, we explore it at your pace in a way that feels safe, validating and empowering.

Common themes include anxiety and emotional overwhelm, neurodivergence, self-criticism and body image, attachment patterns, relationship difficulties and the impact of abuse. I also work with grief and loss, fertility or reproductive challenges, perimenopause and menopause, and the lasting influence of childhood experiences on who you are today.

My Commitment

You’re Welcome Here

Therapy with me is collaborative, respectful and transparent. It should feel human, not clinical. Whether we meet once or work together longer-term, my commitment is that you leave each session with greater understanding, emotional steadiness and something practical you can use in your life. You will be met with care, honesty and a belief in your ability to grow.

Therapy is a courageous step. Whatever you have lived through, you deserve a space where you are met with compassion, honesty and understanding. I offer that to women and young women who are ready for support that feels steady and human rather than clinical or performative. At Thrive, growth isn’t about perfection. It is about creating the conditions that allow you to flourish. Like a plant, you do not need fixing; you need the right environment, nourishment and support to grow in your own way. Therapy offers that space: grounded, nurturing and responsive to your emotional needs.

When you feel ready, reach out. We begin at your pace and move toward a steady, sustainable kind of growth that supports confidence, regulation and genuine thriving.

Meet Katie

Katie Snow

Becoming a therapist wasn’t something I carefully planned. It grew from lived experience, healing, and a deep understanding of how powerful it can be to feel truly heard.

My own experience of navigating difficult relationships and rebuilding my sense of self showed me that healing is not about “fixing” yourself. It is about understanding yourself, reclaiming your voice, and creating the conditions where you can grow.

That belief sits at the heart of Thrive.

Over the years, I have trained professionally and developed a particular passion for supporting women with anxiety, neurodivergence, attachment wounds, self-worth struggles, and the lasting impact of difficult or unhealthy relationships.

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, honest, and practical. I do not believe in hiding behind a clinical façade or pretending to be a blank slate. I bring compassion, humour, evidence-based tools, and gentle challenge when it is needed.

My aim is to help you make sense of your patterns, reconnect with yourself, rebuild confidence, and move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

Outside of work, you will usually find me tending to my ever-growing jungle of houseplants, studying forensic psychology, or lifting heavy weights at the gym. I am endlessly curious about what helps people heal, grow, and thrive, even in the most difficult conditions.
