Introducing Single Session Therapy
Sometimes, you need quick, focused support without the commitment of long-term therapy. My Single Session Therapy is designed for those moments when you need immediate guidance, a fresh perspective, or help tackling a specific challenge. In just one focused session, you can gain the insights and strategies you need to move forward with confidence.
As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to your individual needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Psychodynamic theory, and Person-centred therapy. I believe that creating a warm, nurturing space is essential to the therapeutic process. My sense of humour, combined with a compassionate approach, helps make our sessions feel approachable and supportive.
I also incorporate the principle of Unconditional Self-Acceptance (USA), which means learning to move away from harsh self-criticism and towards a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself. This forms an important foundation for lasting emotional growth and resilience.
In some sessions, I may also use elements such as aromatherapy oils to encourage relaxation and deepen the therapeutic process, supporting self-discovery and healing on multiple levels.
Specialising in women’s wellbeing, I am committed to supporting you through a wide range of concerns. Whether you are navigating anxiety, ADHD, attachment wounds, or low self-esteem, or processing life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause, I offer a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space. Your healing and growth are my priority, and together we can work towards helping you thrive.
Some of the things women often bring to therapy include:
This list is not exhaustive; if what you are going through isn’t mentioned here, please know you are still welcome. We can explore it together in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and supportive.
As an NCPS-accredited therapist with over six years’ experience in both the NHS and private practice, I support women to navigate life’s challenges with warmth, honesty, and compassion. I offer face-to-face sessions in Taunton, as well as online, telephone, and home visits for those who prefer support from their own space.
My areas of special interest include anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, attachment issues, and overcoming abuse. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods along. My style is active and collaborative; I listen deeply, but I also offer feedback, reflections, and psycho-education to help you make sense of patterns and find ways forward. Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of women through anxiety, relationship struggles, loss, and major life transitions such as divorce, separation, and menopause. Therapy offers the chance to heal, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a more fulfilling, grounded life.
Clients often tell me that my warmth and sense of humour make therapy feel approachable, even when the conversations are tough. Sometimes all it takes is one person to believe in us when we can’t quite believe in ourselves.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me surrounded by my ever-growing plant collection (my jungle!) or immersed in my other passion, forensic psychology. Both keep me curious, grounded, and remind me why I love understanding people and what helps them thrive.
